James Wilson
Founder | Senior Managing Partner
James Wilson is Senior Managing Partner of MHW Search and a strategic advisor with deep expertise in scaling real estate organizations. He has consulted for leading global firms across real estate investment, development, construction, and private equity, helping build platforms through organizational and investment strategy. Prior to MHW, James founded a real estate recruiting platform focused on investments, development, property management, and construction, and worked with a Houston-based real estate search firm. Earlier in his career, he worked in Investment Sales, underwriting over $400M in real estate assets across Texas. He holds a BA in Communications from the University of Houston.
AJ Mahmoud is Managing Partner of MHW Search, with a proven track record of building and scaling recruitment firms across construction, energy, real estate, and legal sectors. He is also the Founder & CEO of Scott Humphrey Corporation and Co-Founder of General Staffing. Most recently, AJ led the acquisition of Partners Legal Search, a nationally respected executive search firm for partner-level attorneys. A U.S. Army veteran, AJ blends operational discipline with a people-first leadership style. His portfolio of companies generates over $10M in annual revenue and places more than 400 professionals each year.
Dana Postupack-Hilpert is the Chief Operating Officer at MHW Search, where she leads internal operations and people strategy. With over a decade of experience in talent development, performance coaching, and organizational effectiveness, she has built scalable onboarding, training, and leadership programs for global teams. Dana previously ran a consultancy focused exclusively on recruitment firms, helping drive performance, retention, and growth. She is passionate about creating high-functioning systems that support people, culture, and results.
Ashley Humphrey is Chief Strategy Officer and Founding Partner of MHW Search, with a proven track record of building and scaling recruitment firms across real estate, legal, construction, and energy sectors. She is also Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at Scott Humphrey Corporation and a Partner in General Staffing. Ashley leads the operational and strategic development behind MHW’s growth, implementing systems and processes that drive consistency, efficiency, and long-term performance. Her leadership combines strategic clarity with deep executional insight, creating the infrastructure that supports success across multiple high-performing firms.
Jim Wilson is Managing Director of Legal Search at MHW Search and founder of Partners Legal Search, a nationally recognized legal executive search firm. With more than 40 years of experience, Jim has placed top attorneys in law firms and corporate legal departments across the U.S. His previous roles include senior legal leadership at The Williams Companies, Cenergy Corporation, and the Estate of Howard Hughes. Jim earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, where he served as Editor of the Texas Law Review, and holds a B.A. in Plan II from UT Austin.
As Assistant Vice President at MHW Search, Dunia works within the real estate industry to deliver tailored hiring solutions that address both immediate project needs and long-term organizational growth.
